Surgery was May 10th. All went well and I was released May 15th. By May 18th I was back in the hospital with blood clots in my right leg, one which broke off and went to my lungs. I was released May 22nd and am slowly getting better. It was a very scary ordeal. In 4 weeks my scale shows me down from 304 lbs. to 266 lbs. I will get an official weight loss from the surgeon on the 15th. I look forward to more weight loss once I can exercise. My doctor told me it would be the end of June or later before she would ok me walking for exercise. She said we had to ensure the clot thing was totally taken care of. I will be patient as I only want to move ahead from here. Those of you investigating wls, be thorough. My prayers are with those waiting approval and those beginning their new journey.

!!!!!!ANGEL UPDATE!!!!!! Pat is out of wls and in ICU. I spoke with her nurse tonight and she is doing well. You're on the other side now Pat! WAY TO GO!!!!!!!Please keep her in your thoughts. Thanks so much.
