"Dr. G. is very personable. He explains in laymans terms and takes time to carry on a dialogue as opposed to a one way conversation. All the staff have been very helpful and cortious. There is nothing at this time that I can say I disliked. He is upfront and sticks to the pre surgery chacklist. He highly encourages post op visits, psych, support groups, etc. There does seem to be a structured aftercare program and he emphasizes how critical it is to actively participate. He went over the risks in the pre consult seminar, gave out detailed handouts, reiterated the possibility for complications in the psych eval and at the consult appointment. I would rate him at the highest level for surgeons. I have done my research and have yet to have anyone say a negative thing regarding his skill, bedside manner and frankness. Both are equally important to me. "
