Hi Deborah, I had open bpd/ds with Dr. Booth on Oct. 12...have lost 45 pounds...HOOHA! :-) You are going to do great, you are in terrific hands! I am praying that you have a successful (and uneventful) surgery, a speedy and healng recovery, and a wonderful happy postop life! Keep the faith..you have lots of support here...love, Terri

Deborah, Thank you for the posting!! I AM NOW on the other side! Wooooo Hooooo!!!! I feel great and though the first two days were tough, the day of surgery and the next, when the anesthia wore off and I wasn't using the Morphine pump, there has been very little discomfort. Your day is rapidly approaching! I hope it is with an abundance of excitement and no worry! I let everyone else worry for me...I just kept thinking about how things would be afterward.
