Hi, this is Chris (Heidi's hubby). Just wanted you all to know that Heidi is doing well, she'll be out of hospital Wednesday. Her surgery went PERFECTLY according to Dr. Homan (wonderful guy - chief surgeon at whiteplains). She was up and walking about a couple of hours after the surgery! She says the incision hardly hurts at all anymore, and when she had the bandage changed, it just looks like she has a zipper between her sternum and belly button (staples). She's been talking liquid foods so far (cream of wheat, tomato soup, orange juice) - thought you'd appreciate the update folks :)
