Hi Elizebeth,I know how scared you are but you really will be surprised how smooth everything goes and that it wasn't as bad as you thought.I had my gastric bypass done on 11-5-01.I ALSO had my gaulbladder taken out to.I'm doing great i've lost 47 pounds. that is what I look forward to every week to see how much I've lost. I want to tell you try not to worry so much everything will be fine. the lord will take care of to you.is'nt WLS a wonderful place to go to find out all the information and to know your not alone with this we are all pulling for you. god bless. Best wishes on your surgery. My wife jens is the same day. She is following my example, I am down 94 pounds since july 23rd. You will soon be on the lighter side:) Post op is the place to be.

Elizabeth, I am also having an open rny on Dec. 10, only here in NJ. I'm sure we are both going to do great. There are a lot of us 12/10ers on this list. Looking forward to hearing of your progress.

Hi Elizabeth. How are you doing? I hope you are feeling peace & tranquility. I'll be your angel, but it's better to have someone who lives nearby and come visit you in the hospital. But I am definitely better than nobody. Let me know!!

Hi Elizabeth, thanks for your post. You bet I'm scared but I am also very confident that this is the right choice for me-I have no control over my weight. I will think of you and pray for you too!
