Hello, My Name is JoAnn. I am 42 years old. I am married 16 years to a wonderful man. We have no Children. We however have 4 cats and a Gubiea Pig. They keep me company while my Hubby is at work. I have been overweight since I was 12 years old and i kept gaining weight till as of today I weigh 389. That is so awful to me. I cannot explain how I let my self get to this stage but I have. No crying over spilt milk. It is in my family genes. I have many health problems--High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Asthma, Anxiety with Depression,Dengeneratine Joint Disease, Allergies and of course MORBID OBESITY. I have truly been blssed by my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ who have given me daily breath for these past 42 years and have not had a stoke or a Heart Attack etc. But I know if I continue on like this I will dead. It has taken me a little time to make up my mind to have WLS as I had an experience where I had someone I dearly loved go thru this and had problems with something the DR did which caused her to pass away in 1999. I am being honest, I am scared but i must press forward and believe in heavenly Father and Jesus Christ who will look over me and guide all the people who are to help me to lose this weight. I have over 200 pounds to lose. So I made up my mind that I was going to have this surgery. So on September 23,2003 I have an appointment with DR. Rosenthal, who is in weston Florida. I also will be attending the seminar that is required of me. I am hoping that I will be able to receive some emails from those of whom may be waiting to have thier surgery or the ones who have already had thier surgery.
