Hi, Gina....what an emotional journey you have had to get where you are now!! I was one of the lucky ones, my surgery was approved after only 3 weeks, and is scheduled for 4/13. My mom is scheduled for 4/16. I wish you all of the best, but I know you are in good hands with Dr. Bolar. Let's try to keep each other posted. Gina, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine about five months ago, and I have never had a single regret. Fortunately, the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
