Well as I am nearing my 1st anniversary since I regained my life, I am reminded about all the people who have helped me along the way. I am truly blessed to have so many people who care about me, and I send love and hugs to you all. I am now 265lbs. A far cry from 425 a year ago. I had to go back into surgery at Thanksgiving for a hernia repair, and while they were at it they removed the excess skin that was starting to sag to my knees. Due to a few minor complications, I landed back in to the hospital in the middle of December to repair some leaking. I was opened up, cleaned out, and sent home 3 days later with some pretty deep "holes" and a drain from hole to hole under my skin. Well, I am now on the mend and the holes are closing without anymore problems. When asked if I would do it again given the circumstances, I reply " IN A NEW YORK MINUTE" I love being thinner. I love to be able to shop off the rack instead of speciality stores. I love all the possitive attention that I get when people see me who haven't seen me in a while. I love watching their shocked looks and hearing their gasps. Most of all, I love finding myself again. My prayers go out to anyone who is considering this surgery.Feel free to email me if you want, and I will do my best to answer ant questions.

Hope all went well with your surgery. I had the same surgery with the same dr. October of last year. Im 6 months out and have lost 85 pounds. Just keep doing the protein, water, exersize and things will all fall into place I will enclude you in my prayers....
