Hi Everyone! I had LapRNY on tues., 1/21/03, and came home yesterday morning, less than 48 hours later! I am feeling a bit fatigued, mostly feel like I worked out at the gym and then quit for a couple of days, everything is getting stiff and sore. Having difficulty getting my fluids in, I am just not hungry! Bending over and getting from a sitting to a standing position is a bit rough, but otherwise, I feel great! Thank You to all of you who kept me in your thoughts and prayers and/or offered words of support!

Jes's surgery went well. When I left the hospital today she was alert and talking to all of us. Will keep you posted.

Jes, I know you are over in that bed that will become mine next week. Silly me, I stopped at the hospital to pick up some papers and didn't check on you. Duh, where is my brain? Hoping to hear about you soon, either a message on the board aor comment on your surgery page. Get outta that bed and walk on outta there. Hugs. Carol

Congratulations on taking this step to gain back control of your life. I go for the surgery, the day before you, on the 20th. I hope your surgery is free of complications and you loose all the weight you want to. Good Luck and God Bless

Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing.
