Hi Katie, Well first I will start off by saying way a go. You have taken a huge step at making a difference. Soon the pain will go away and you will look back on these days and say wow I've really did it. So good luck and stay positive and always remember to follow the Doctor's orders. My surgery date is 11-28-03.

Hi Katie! I'm glad that you made it through surgery okay and are home. I'm sorry that you're in so much pain! I have my surgery next month, so I'm kind of wondering myself what the pain will be like. I'm a young mom too (33), and I've had 2 C-sections, so I am hoping that the pain will be comparible to that. I hope you start to feel better real soon!

hey! i am home now. and yes in lots of pain! it hurts basically when i move. so if im on the sofa or in bed im ok. thank you for all your good lucks and god bless' i aprreciate it!!! I am on my way. Ill update again soon. thanks again!

Your big day is around the corner. I pray that your surgery is uneventful and your recovery is speedy. I also hope that you utilize all that you have learned pre op about WLS to ensure that you will be a success.<br><p>- No one is perfect all of the time, but if you are armed with your research and determination, your tool will work out the rest along with support, motivation, and follow through you will succeed and reach all goals.
