" I had chosen Dr. Callery based on information on this website, personal recommendations from acquaintences, and proximity to where I live. I had called his office to verify he accepted my insurance (Aetna PPO), and after being assured he did, made an appointment to attend his seminar. I had to wait 2 long months to get into a seminar(which was last night), and at the very end, he announced that he no longer accepts PPO insurance! I was livid--I have wasted 2 months...the least they could have done was to get back to me when he made that decision!
Now, I've gone to see, and will be having surgery with, Dr. Tanaka. He's totally lacking in "bedside manner", but others have said he's an excellent surgeon. I guess I'll have more to say post-op!"
