"Dr. Jeffries had no idea why I was there, though I had made clear the reason for my visit with everyone when I scheduled it. Once he realized I wanted a psych eval for WLS, he excused himself to get some necessary forms. He was soothing in tone, kind, empathetic, and overall fine. The visit was rather long at about 2 hours. I did ask him how much experience he had in dealing with people seeking WLS. He said it came in waves and that he had had six in the past two days. He nodded in agreement when I stated I saw the procedure as a tool not as a total solution by itself."
"Dr. Gomez was professional, cut and dry with his approach, and sensitive to answering all my questions. He stresses that he is foremost a surgeon and refers patients to PCP's, internists, etc. for specific questions. I feel comfortable with him."
