Sorry, I have not been in contact with anyone but I have been really busy with my family this summer. Anyway I have lost between 50 and 60lbs since my surgery date of April 28. I will post my before and after picture soon.
Countdown till surgery

I am currently in the phase of counting down the days until I have my surgery April 28, 2008. I have purchased my protein supplement, and vitamins. I even bought the biotin for my hair. Although I have not purchased any of the food items such as broths, jello, carnation instant breakfast popsicles. I am so sure if I purchase the popsicles, jello and carnation instant breakfast my 2, 6, and 7 year old children will consume them before I have surgery. Therefore the weekend before I have surgery is the time when I will buy these items. Anyway, I am not sure of if I should start my dieting now, my doctor only mention for me to have a clear liquid diet the day before surgery only, and didn't mention anything else. Although he did tell me to lose weight before the surgery to shrink my liver which would prevent complications. Therefore on Wednesday 4/23/08 I am going to begin a dieting with low carbs and the weekend do clear liquid for both Saturday and Sunday before my surgery. I am so excited I can't wait until I in the weight losing category. I thank god for providing this opportunity for me to begin my life fresh and new with a healthier beginning. I give him all the praise and glory for providing this surgery as a means for a new view on life for me and my self esteem. Pray with me that god continues to bless me and goes forth with me in the operating room. God Bless each and everyone of you out there and keep you under his wing.

Today, I am going to have an upper GI (esophagram), lab work, and chest
xray. WOW I just can't hardly wait until I have my surgery, or maybe one year later and able to look in the mirror at my new healthy physique. Yesterday, I recieved my nutritional (dietary) and vitamins I ordered from the obesityhelp.com store and it really upset me. Most of the items I ordered were correct but the one product I really wanted was missing and a bulk item I ordered was doubled. Anyway, I have to say farewell for now, and I will chat with you all later.
