"Dr. Myers is the best. I investigated the other bariatric programs in Columbus and even spent almost a year trying to \"get through\" the hoops at OSU when I found Dr. Myers. rnrnHe is a very kind man. He offers weekly information sessions and HE is the speaker, unlike most programs where you don't meet the surgeon until right before the surgery. He has Annie, a patient advocate, who makes everything easy for you. Their program is now at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus and it's great. At OSU, they gave me a \"check list\" of everything that I needed to have done and then reminded me once a month of what I had not yet completed. Dr. Myers offers a 1-day plan which includes blood work, physicial, psych testing and eval, meeting with registered dietician and meeting with exercise physiologist. After that, they send everything to your insurance company, and you know within a few days what you need to do for approval.rnAfter care is an important part of the program and I will have 12 weeks of personal training and exercise classes to help me change my lifestyle. I can't wait for surgery!"
