"Dr. Moonka was great. At first he seems a bit shy, but he is very easy and not nearly as stuffy as the folks I initially saw at the UW. He takes care to explain thoroughly what's going on, and keeps it in mind that you're paying for the procedure out of pocket so tries to keep your hospital stay short if possible w/o risking your health.
There's a bit of structured after-care with the dietician, but a more defined program and contact with other patients would be an added bonus.
Combo of skill and personality is important. I was quite happy with Dr. Moonka, and would recommend him to future patients."
