I'm not into long stories & into alot of details, so I will go right into my story of life. I'm a young lady of 49 yrs. At present time I live with my Mother taking care of her (she has stage 4 breast cancer and other medical problems). By always being the doer, worrying, & just not thinking much about what I needed to do for myself my weight bloomed. After my Mother's one year stay in a rehab. & my niece being born with a hole in her heart and having Down Syndrome I decided I needed to get my priorities in order "ME" or I wouldn't be able to help anyone. July 2011 was my starting point, I weighted as much as 390+, I lost 70 lbs. before surgery & I'm down to 228 after surgery. I work out 3 to 4 times a week at a boxing bootcamp ( for people in the Boston area the name is Ally's Boxing Bootcamp in W. Roxbury & Attleboro). I had my sleeve surgery date on Feb. 8, 2012 at Brigham & Women's & my Doctor is Dr. Jooyeun Chung.
WHO IS MY HERO?
That would be the 300+ girl who decided to take the steps to make a change. My hope for now is that I can rely on my INDIVIDUALISM & BE STRONG!!
