Surgery Date

What a great first blog to write. 

I got my surgery date today. Right before going into work it was confirmed that I would be having the vertical sleeve on November 12th. That is only 13 days away!!! 

I was super anxious about having to tell my manager because my boss is crazy and I am not comfortable talking to her, but I did it. I will be taking medical leave in 13 days and having my life change! 

The thoughts that race around in my head can sometimes be overwhelming. 

I am super excited, but I am also nervous. 

I am a little scared, but the other part of me doesn't want to be scared and thinks its silly. 

There are some things that I am looking forward to: 

shopping in non plus size stores,

walking with ease,

back pain going away,

being comfortable in public/ around new people

enjoy taking pictures

being able to have the ability to have kids because currently if I wanted to I wouldn't be able to,

along with so many other things that healthy people take for granted. 

Anyways, here is my first blog. I am overwhelmed with exciting and just wish everyone around me could be as excited as I am!
