I turned 33 last August and I feel like my health has gone down hill since. I was hospitalized in Sept for 4 days for an infection in my blood. One month later was diagnosed with diabetes. I have struggled with my weight for most of my life. I kept putting it off. I'll go on a diet Monday or I'll start eating healthy for New Years. Well now I'm 33 and 360lbs and its not so easy to lose the weight. I need help to lose the weight. I can't do it all on my own. So I made the decision to have the surgery. I'm very blessed that I have good insurance and there will be no problem getting it approved. I have already done everything I was supposed to as far as the sleep study etc. Of course, I was informed today that I have sleep apnea. So I get to go back for a second sleep study and sleep with the CPAP machine. I also was told just today that my iron is low and blood sugar a little high. Anything else? lol I just want to be healthy. I want to be able to live and live good. There are so many things that I put off doing because I can't. I know that sometimes it gets worse before it gets better. I can't wait for things to get better. I'm very excited about having the surgery done and having a healthy, productive and fun life that I have dreamt about. I probably will have my surgery before the end of the year. I should hear something within the next 2 weeks.
