I confess that I am an utter doofus when it comes to WordPress, so it's not as sleek and smooth as it could be, but that is where I will be leaving blog posts regarding WLS and life. :)

When it gets closer and I get a date set up for surgery, I will maintain a photo history on here as well as ScribbleMuse. Personally, many times I scan profiles just for that extra encouragement that the pics can bring, so I'd like to provide tit for tat.

Talked to potential new insurance company today

And they say that they will indeed pick up the costs of the surgery even though I am already enrolled in the clinic bariatric program. Obviously, that is good news since my husband's insurance puts us into out-of-network region with the clinic and so would only pay 60%.
Also, they apparently do not need more than just a statement from the doc saying that I have been on some sort of supervised diet, which means that the 3-month program my doc has may be perfectly fine. I will ask over on the CA boards though. I would assume that the CA state boards would be the best place to find experience with BCBS-CA. :)
I admit that I am impatient, but I do want this now so that I can get on with life in the way that I want to live. I am so sick of being this fat, this unhealthy, and this unhappy. I feel much better in thinking that perhaps the end is finally nearing though.
