"My first impression of Dr. Landerholm was one of twinkling eyes, a great smile and a very friendly attitude. As I came to know him a little better my impressions were cemented. He is very likable and personable, not what I thought a surgeon would be like at all! He explained everything in detail and was even willing to go above and beyond to make me as comfortable as possible with the whole process. His gentleness and kindness are genuine and he really cares about his patients.
He has a structured aftercare program and has me working with a great nutritionist, Melanie. His office staff has been nothing but helpful, encouraging and supportive and all are so friendly! We also have a monthly support group meeting, which I am looking forward to attending.
The risks of lapbanding were discussed very honestly with me, though Dr. Landerholm and his team have had excellent results with their patients. I would rate him as an excellent surgeon with a great bedside manner and and would recommend him to anyone deciding on bariatric surgery. I also feel we are so blessed here in Western Washington State to have this wonderful bariatric surgical clinic with these surgeons who feel that obesity is a disease and can be treated with this tool called lapband!"
