Hello every body!!! thanks for your prayers and good wishes!! a week ago tomorrow (July 11th) I got banded! I will be more than happy to answer any questions you have I know I had many and it helped to have someone who had gone through it answer them.. I went in as scheduled and everyone was really happy and positive in the hospital... I remember talking to the Dr. then it was all over I woke up in recovery. groggy but releived I had woken up :-) I was taken to my room... I got up to walk in the afternoon ( I had my procedure at 8:00 AM) and i was walking around at 6:30 PM... I am happy I stayed one night just for observation and came home the next day.. so far I am walking around the house today I actually drove and walked for 20 minutes around my block... I am having pain on the left side but that is it.. the key thing is walk walk and walk drink plenty of fluids too.. I had lost 10 pounds on my liquid diet (10 days on liquids) and so far today I have lost another 5 pounds since surgery!!! so all: good luck do not get discouraged and keep going!!!
