Hello Everybody...Just a brief updat...God is so good...I thank God first and foremost for my recovery and for the many blessings he has bestowed upon me....since my surgery in March2010 I have lost a total of 90lbs....and I feel great...look great...and I owe it all to my daddy in the heavens above....I just started looking at my self differently....I really couldnt tell I had lost so much weight until everybody else started saying something...and when I looked at my self in the mirror and seen my face....I was like "WOW"...just amazing...everyday I walk around with a beautiful smile on my face...something I didnt know I had before....and I thank God...thank you guys for your support,your prayers and your comments....Stay Blessed and have a awesome fourth of July.....

Wow...it has been a minute huh...well well well...it has....everything is going good for me...besides a few things...but Im trying to work out the kinks....asking God to give me strength thru these trials and test...also to send his love down and rain on me....I have alot to say but now is not the time....just wanted to update and let you guys know how I am doing....since the surgery i have lost about 50lbs...I dont think its anywhere near what I am supose to have lost...but its okay...Im getting there...I still have 10 mths to get it right...untill then..please keep me in your prayers...God Bless...Luv Yall....

WELL TODAY I WENT TO SEE MY DOCTOR FOR MY TWO WEEKS CHECK-UP.....I GET TO START PHASE TWO NEXT MONDAY THE 29TH....MAN THERE IS SO MUCH MORE I CAN EAT....IM SCARED KINDA GOT USE TO MY LIQUID DIET....BUT YEA...IN FOUR WEEKS....(6WEEKS OUT) I WILL BE ABLE TO START PHASE THREE WHICH IS THE MORE SOLID FOODS...BUT I HAVE DECIDED TO ONLY EAT TUNA,SALMON...BASICALLY LEAN LUNCH MEATS AND FISH....NO RED MEATS FOR ME....BOUT TO BE HEALTHY AND FIT....IM ON A MISSION....I HAVE LOST 24 LBS..I GO BACK TO WORK ON THE 30TH OF THIS MONTH...WAITING TO SEE WHAT EVERYBODY IS GOING TO SAY.....STAY BLESSED

Hey Everybody,its been nine days since my surgery and I feel "GREAT"....still no pain....not even sore anymore....since my surgery date I have lost 10lbs in nine days.....Dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing....I go see my surgeon on Monday the 22th and I am hoping he will add some more food items to my diet....Im on a liquid diet now....chicken broth,water,decaf tea,sugar free popsicles,sugar free jello....thats all I can eat for now....so when I go see him I can hopefully move on to phase two.....This has been a very good expierence for me and Im so excite and happy for what God has done for me....again I say to just have Major "Surgery" and come out with no pain is awesome....some people dont understand why I havent used any of my pain medicine...but thats the God I serve...thats how he work.....he has been preparing me for the last 2 years for the surgery and Im so grateful...that he showed up and showed out in my favor....I was healed way before the surgery....but yea....my scars are looking good....one of my best friends and her husband both me a treadmill...which will be delivered on thursday...I cant wait....im going to use it everyday....Im going to walk at least an hour a day....Im on a mission....summer is coming up....I can already notice.....my legs and ankles are like really small now....my stomach is not as big as it was...and also....my pants are getting baggy....I want to work on my stomach,my butt and my arms....Im liking my thighs....so Im going to be working it out alot....but I think thats it for now....giving all thanks to my Farther who is in heaven.....loving you with all my heart and soul....

Hey Everyone....Somebody help me...tell me how you felt after surgery....I feel great....I havent had any pain at all...seriously no pain...I pulled out my numb pump and my stomach is no longer numb...still no pain....just sore when I turn a certain way....Didnt use my pain medication at all.got it from the pharmacy and havent took it out the bag....Even in the hospital I didnt use my morfin pump.....only the first day.....just sore....but Im not hungry at all....dont feel like eating....its like I have to force myself to eat....I no longer take any medications....but what Im really concerned about is that Im sleeping alot...is that normal anybody.....all I want to do is sleep...I wake up...walk to the living room....look at tv for about an hour and then want to go back and get in the bed....

Hello everybody..First off I want to thank God for all his Grace and Mercy and Favor over my life....how are ya'll doing...I finally made it home from the hospital....The surgery went great....My doctor...Dr.Patel was great....I love him so much.....I am so glad that I am now on the losing side....the staff was great very helpful...Thanks alot Sarah,Karla,Pyhtoue,Rudy,and John....you guys was great and you made my stay wonderful and very relaxing.....Well thats its for the update for now...I will write more later...Im tired...no pain...bout to go and lay down for awhile....Talk to yall later....God Bless....

Hello Everybody...today is my surgery date....I feel like Im forgetting to do something....My mom is here spending the night...she will be going with me to the hospital in San Antonio.....along with my friend Pam Bradford....I have so many people praying for me...and supporting me thru this...I am happy with my choice...I know God got me.Im ready...a little nervous...but "READY"....I have prayed for this for so long and God has put everything into order and it is "DONE"....Thank You God....For Your Grace,Mercy,Love,Strength,Wisdom,Knowlegde,Favor And Understanding....

HEY EVERYBODY...ITS SUNDAY MORNING AROUND 1:25AM...IM GETTING READY FOR MY SURGERY ON MONDAY MORNING AT 7:30AM.....IM GETTING MY HAIR BRAIDED...SO I WONT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING WITH MY HAIR....I ALREADY PACKED MY LITTLE BAG....FOR MY VISIT TO THE HOSPITAL....I HAVE TO DRIVE DOWN TO SAN ANTONIO TEXAS AND GET SOME BLOOD WORK DONE....AND I THINK A EKG ALSO....AND THEN I WILL COME BACK HOME AND RELAX AND START MY LIQUID DIET AND JUST WAIT TILL THAT MORNING AND HEAD BACK TO SAN ANTONIO FOR THE SURGERY....I WANT TO THANK GOD FOR ANSWERING MY PRAYERS....I WANT TO ALSO THANK GOD FOR HAVING MY BACK WHEN NO ONE ELSE DID....THIS IS MY NEW BEGINNING...AND I THANK GOD...PLEASE KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS....GOD BLESS.... Hello everybody....I know its been awhile...since I wrote on my page...but I have a major update.....Im just going to break it down...so keep up okay....its been a long time coming....I finally got approved....it only took a week sent the papers on wednesday....and the following wednesday they called me with my approval....yes so Im excited....my surgery is scheduled for March 8,2010 at 7:30am .....in San Antonio Texas.....Im so excited....very excited....cant wait to be on the loser side....since my pre-op diet...I have lost over 6lbs in 2weeks...dont know if thats good or bad...but Im happy....so from right now....I have seven whole days....Im scared a little...but I know that "GOD GOT ME".....

Hello Everyone.....well well well.....its getting closer to that time....I have decided to do the surgery...Im looking at Dr.Patel to do it....one of my really really good friends and her daughter went thru Dr. Patel...I have heard really nice things about him.So right now what Im doing is submitting paperwork...because I have found out that my insurance will cover it....(BCBS) so I will be attending a seminar sometime in the first week of next month with my good good friend.."BECKY"...shes gonna tag along with me for support....I am really excited about the whole thing.."SOOOOOOOO"..basically now I am just eating all the things I want now...not in large portions...but the things I like alot...because I know that once I have the surgery I wont be able to eat them,Im totally okay with that though....I can sit up and eat jello and drink ozarka all day long...as long as the weight falls off...Im good at obeying the rules...if I know its going to help me....and plus you have no idea how bad im trying to get this weight off.....I recently lost my car....and I live like a mile and ahalf from my job....I have been walking to and from work at least 3-4 times a week...I work five days a week with weekends off...so sometimes I will get a ride...sometimes I wont..but the majority of the week Im walking...so I have been doing this for about a month now...I feel alot better....and I think I lost a couple of pounds("I THINK") Im not sure....but I will find out when I weigh myself...which I dont know when that will be....but I  will keep you guys informed....I luv ya'll and "To God Be The Glory"
