So I only had my pre-op class on Wednesday and then I have surgery this coming Wednesday and I just found out all the vitamins and things I need to get before then. I only have this weekend which kind of sucks because I wont have time to order anything online or get any samples. I am just going to purchase supplements and protein shakes off what the nurse suggested and what I have read online. From what I saw a lot of people like the Syntax Nectar, and EAS Chocolate so I guess I'll get those. I can't find small sizes anywhere so I can try them out before committing to a $40 can of powder I may not like which I am not happy about. I read somewhere you can get free samples on bariatriceating.com but I couldn't find anything..
Trying to figure out where to get all my vitamins is another chore. I don't want to spend hundreds on vitamins but I don't know where the best place to go would be. I'm guessing like a Fresh and Easy. Although Vitamin Shoppe has everything at one place. Ek! So much to think about. I have to get all my shopping done this weekend too. I wish my pre-op class would have been like a month ago so I had time for all this. I also don't have time for any meetings before hand so I could get some suggestions from other people in the area. Oh well. I guess I'll figure it out.

One more week

I have never done a blog before, but everyone says its a good way to get your thoughts and feelings out.. so why not. Especially now. One more week until surgery. It all happened so quickly. Not the whole process necessarily but the last two months went by like nothing. I remember having the conversation with a friend a year ago about this doctor in town that does Lap Band and Gastric .. Sure, lets go to the seminar. That was almost a year ago. Then I was so excited and thought, I can totally do this, I want to do this, it's time.. Now I am sitting here.. only a week left. I'm so ready.. and scared at the same time. I really don't want to mess up. But I am SOOOOO ready.
Hopefully the next week will fly by... can't wait..
