Seven months into our four year tour in England. All of the paperwork done and submitted for the Gastric Bypass. Waiting on the final step to be processed. The final approval from TriCare. This is the unhappiest I have ever been. With my weight, with myself, with my situation. I'm hoping the surgery is just one part of my self improvement. I can't wait to have energy for my kids, to explore while we're stationed in the UK, to keep up with my husband, and his physical fitness. As much as I am excited, I am scared. I have read the many stories of how this life changing event can effect those relationships you now have in your life, including marriages. I have seen it first hand with other friends and family members. But I have to do this for me. For my health! I hope to hear some news by Friday. I wish I had a date. My nerves are shot.
