I don't know if I have much of a story but I guess, here it goes. I'm a single mom, by choice, with 2 beautiful girls. I've been wanting to have WLS for years but my insurance wouldn't cover it until a couple of years ago. I decided then to have one more baby before I pursued WLS. Because once I lose all of this weight, I don't want to be pregnant again and gain any of it back. (All of you moms know what I'm talking about!), So I looked for months trying to find a surgeon that would work with my insurance. My boss finally found one for me! She's great and been very supportive! So here I am. Waiting for the insurance company to approve me. I can hardly beleive that this could actually be happening very soon! I've been big my entire life. I am in fairly good shape though. You have to be to chase after kids all day! I won't let myself just sit around and be lazy. I have always been the life of the party and have many,many great friends. I guess my weight has kept me from doing some things in life but I still try to enjoy my life as much as possible. I want to be able to take my girls on fun vacations and not worry about being able to fit on anything or having to go off on anyone because of their ignorance. I will stand up for myself because I am a beautiful person! We all are in our own special ways. Don't ever forget that! So, not too much to tell. I am kind of a private person until I get to know someone. But it is really nice to read about all of you and I don't feel so alone in all of this.
