"<h2><font color=blue>I had my first consult with Dr. Tanaka at Pacific Bariatric on Dec 4th. in San Diego Ca. I was sitting on the exam table when he walked in behind me. He did not introduce himself and immidiately started launching into questions. Not only was he abrupt but I didnt even see him as he was standing behind me asking the questions. When I had finished answering them he came to the front where I could see him and told me I was a candidate for only the open due to my prior female surgeries and scar tissue. He went over all of the risks involved and was very direct an d to the point. I was NOT impressed with his mannerisims but I understand he is a wonderful doctor. He gave me the opportunity to ask questions and then proceeded to tell me I would hear from them in a couple of weeks. "
