So, many of you know I've been trying REAL HARD to get a job at a local casino, Valley View! Have you ever tried to get a job at a casino? It isn't easy at all, I had to work really hard. But I finally got enough info for the Gaming Commission and got licensed. I start orientation on Monday!!!! I'm very excited about this position. It is in the Players Club and seems like it will be right up my alley!!!

I'm kind of nervous, as I haven't worked in 2 years. That was preop, so 110 pounds ago, and before my strokes. They denied me for SS Disability and claim I can work, I hope they are right!!! The only thing that worries me is the dizziness issues and my horrible short term memory issues! Keep me in your prayers that I can handle it!

So, I'm just about 17 months now, down 110 pounds and 84 1/2 inches total. I just took my first measurements since my year mark. I've lost another 4 1/2 inches, but grew 2 inches in my tummy around the biggest hernia bulge. That really sucks, but I don't know if it is the hernia growing or just the shrinkage of the stomach around it now. Either way, they seem bigger to me! They have been behaving for the most part, but I get attacks now and then. I hope they can hang on for a few more months. Jan. or Feb. would be good probably! lol

That's about it for now. 2 more days before I rejoin the work force ~ woo hoo!!!! I know it is going to be a major adjustment for me, but I think I'm ready!!! I will probably have MAJOR OH withdrawals!!! lol
