135 lbs. Lost all my regain.
Jan 01, 2015
I officially have lost my 100 pound regain. I'm going to try to set another goal of 5 lbs to lose to bring me to 130. Chances I'm guessing are slim since 135 was the lowest I ever got after my initial gastric bypass. If not, I'm completely fine with that. It's hard to believe this month, January 2007 was the start of this journey. I had my revision to distal gastric bypass in January 2013. Looking back at the last 8 years all I can say is "wow".
I know the distal gets a bad rap but 2 years later, I'm glad I did it. I know I've had to make some changes. I have to watch my dairy intake, too much, and it upsets my stomach. I rather like unsweetened almond milk now. I've had to add monthly b12 shots along with a dry vitamin d and iron to my already established vitamin routine. I'm doing good though.
Hit goal. Now going to try to lose 5 more.

I hit my goal of 140 lbs today. Hooray!!!!! I never thought after my revision, I'd see the goal I set, but I did. Now I'm going to try to lose 5 lbs to make it to lowest weight of 135 lbs. Then I really want to work on maintaining a daily weight between 135 and 140 lbs. All that walking and exercising this summer has paid off! Hopefully, I can stay active when the snow hits and it's miserable outside.
Did my first run last month and I didn't die!

Okay so it was more a run/jog/run/walk/run, LOL, but still I did it! I did 3.5 miles. That's a HUGE accomplishment for me. I was always the heavy kid with the asthma that was allergic to outdoors in general and would die halfway through the ONE mile run in school. Soo 3.5 miles is a pretty big accomplishment for me. Granted I had my inhaler on me, and took my nebulizer before I left my house, but still, haha. BIG accomplishment! :)
Weighing in at 145.

WOW. I've been most recently stuck on 148 for a bit. I weighed and am 145 today! Yeah! 5 more pounds to go! All this extra walking is paying off.
