got a call today and they are submitting my info to ins company for approval for surgery. Im praying really hard that it will be. Been a long wait just so ready.

Well I found out today that i may be turned down for the surgery because i cannot find history of my weight for 2008 and 2010. That is such crap. I have done every test they require, every class, every appt. and i have done the 12 month diet AND lost more than my 10% they need and now this little excuse is how they get out of paying for my surgery. 7 years of trying to find the right ins that will cover and this little crappy reason is going to shoot me down. unreal! I have one possible save though, if they will accept pics of me with the dates stamped on them. I pray that it works. I have lost 45.5 pounds on the diet so if I cant get surgery I know I can slowly do it, but then I could always lose weight I just could never keep it off. We will see what ins says.

well psych eval went great and so did weigh in. im down the 10% insurance wants and have one more weigh in and then should be ready to submit to insurance for approval. I just pray the dont find some silly little thing to hold me up i am so ready to get this done.

Have everything done but the psych eval and 2 more weigh ins. I need 3 more pounds to hit my 10% that insurance requires. I will

hopefully have that taken off on 4/29, my next to last weigh in woo hoo!

Have all the pre op stuff done except psych evaluation. Gettin close as long as insurance company cooperates. So ready!!

I finally went to my seminar. I really learned just two things that I had not read already. I consider that to be a good thing because it shows me that all the research I have done has been very thorough and not a waste of time. Everything I had read online that was mentioned was the same info. So now just waiting on Dr. office to call for first consultation. Although I still have 7 months of diet left. Thanks to PEIA. Just glad they cover it and just hoping I get approved when the time comes.

I am getting impatient waiting until jan. 8 for my seminar. So far all I have done to prepare is medically supervised diet for 6 months and still have 6 months too go. I think once I go to the seminar it will become a little more real that this can really happen for me. So ready for this!
