Surgery cannot come soon enough.  I met with My surgeon on the 20th.  He said I was an ideal candidate.  My fat distribution is normal.  No co-morbidities.  I am young enough to recover quickly from surgery but old enough to be mature and follow the plan.  I met with my case manager after that and we picked tentative surgery dates.  I had my heart set on August 21st.  I know that is fast but I am paying by myself so things can move fast.  I got a call yesterday that the 21st is not going to work so looks like we are waiting until September.  It seems so far away!! 

Tomorrow I have my chest x-ray, ekg, and labs.  Hopefully nothing of interest will show up there.

I have my consultation with Dr. Spitz tomorrow.  I am hoping it goes well.  I have spent years being scared and right now I just want to get on with it.  I am hoping that because I am self pay, the process will be quick!
