The 3-5 week Skid...

Yep--I've hit the skid.  I'm bored with food.  Not finding much that I can eat more than once or twice, and then I hate it.  I started back having a shake for Breakfast.  I know I'm not getting enough protein in.  I don't know how many calories I'm eating per day, but I'm on track.  I drink less water now than I did pre-surgery, and I think there are two reasons.  1--I'm not using a straw (can we ever start again?) and 2-I can't gulp it anymore.  I never had a problem with water intake.  It was always my preferred drink (plus one pepsi per day--which I cut out in August after my first appt at my surgeon's office).

I'm hoping to get this figured out soon.  I'm going to try more water, and a second shake each day.  We shall see...
