I am now 18 months out and I am down from 387 pounds to 201, I am so looking forward to being under 199. This is a real reality for me at this point and I couldn't be happier. I barley recongnize myself in photos but I still feel like me and since I never felt fat so it is working out great for me.

Well it is a bummpy ride but I made it to 6 months and I am happy with my progress. I started at 387 pounds on November 18,2009. My husband was deployed adn I ws in it alone me and the kids also 11 days before my 35th birthday. Today is May 18 and I currently weigh in at 283 pounds, that is 105. I know it could be more but I choose not to treat this as a chore but a change and so slow and easy is fine with me.

The most amazing thing is the number of things that have changed. i wore  a 34 pant and now I am in a 26, my shirts were 32/34 not I am in a 23/28, I lost 1.5 ring size and a whole shoe size. I also have lost inches in my heighth, WOW how funny is that. The only lose I am not ok with but managing is my hair lose but I can handle a short hair style for a while.

I am happy is all that matters! My husband will be home in 6 weeks I think he will be so impressed with how  I am looking.

Today I went for a check up with my PCP before seeing my Surgeon later this week and I am Under 300 pound and 10 from 100 lost. I was so damn excited even my PCP was excited we talked Pilates and Yoga. She rocks and So does Dr. Beeekley my surgeon and I am sadden by his retirement this coming month. I am doing good.

My PCP is concerned I am overdoing the Vitamins so she is going over all my lables. She is great was too great.

Well things are going good for what I just put my body through. I have lost 32 lbs something I could not have doen with out the DS. I am happy for the most part getting back to normal is taking a while. I find I appreciate food more I love cooking and watching the family eat. I am still a little sore on on side of my belly where the biggest incision was, but I am good. I love my DS.

Well surgery wen well, took 5 hours and I had an extended stay in the hospital because my oxygen level was low. I am home now and feeling great!

Only complaint I have is everything tastes like dirt now. My current diet consits of yogurt, jello some chicken soup lemonade, does this happen to us all and when will it get better?
At my two week follow up I had lost 26 lbs already so I am happy with the surgery.

TOMORROW I WILL BE SAYING GOODBYE TO THE OLD ME AND WELCOMING THE NEW ME. I KNOW IT WILL BE SOMETIME BEFORE I SEE ANY REAL CHANGES BUT I AM SO READY AND WAITING TO GET TO THE OTHER SIDE. THE ROAD AHEAD IS LONG AND VERY BUMPY BUT AS LONG AS I KEEP MY MIND SET ON MY GOALS AND REMEMBER I WILL FALL BUT I NEED TO PICK MYSELF UP PUT ON THE BIG GIRL PANTIES , SUCK IT UP AND MOVE FORWARD. I AM SO THANKFUL I HAVE MET SO MANY WONDERFUL PEOPLE HERE AND HAVE SOME SUPPORT TO LOOK FORWARD TOO.

WITH THAT SAID I WILL SEE YOU ALL SOON AND I AM SURE TO FEEL LIKE I WAS RAN OVER BY AT LEAST TWO TRUCKS BY THURSDAY BUT SO WORTH IT.

I WILL SEE YOU ALL ON THE OTHER SIDE.YAY ME!!!!!!! 

Well we was going about our day as always and the hospital called they are moving me up tp the 18 of Nov. It is only two days earlier but I am so ready to get on the other side. So here I go I am down to one week. i need to get a move on and get all my stuff in line now. Any suggestionson what i should have on hand.

Hello everyone i am angela m i currently weight 381lbs and so excited I am about to be equiped with a new tool to loose the weight and live healthy. My date as of now is Nov 20 my mother is flying from TX and I am a Army wife and my husband is serving in Iraq until July next year, I couldn't wait that much longer.
