Hey everyone!  I had my surgery Monday at 10am. I am home now and I feel terrific!  I came home completely off of my blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes medications!! I am SO excited! Only upward from here!! 

My Endoscopy was done Tuesday morning and I got the green light for surgery. I do have a small hiatal hernia but my Doc said he will fix it during my surgery. So the countdown begins!!!

My consultaion with the surgeon was today. I was nervous but it was a breeze. He is awesome and walked me through everything. Answered all of my questions and spent a good half hour with me. I do, however, have to have an endoscopy. Booo  Because I have reflux, there might be scarring so he has to check it out. 40 days.

40 days til a new life

My 6 months are up and everything is done. My paperwork was sent in the first week of January. I got the call Tuesday that I was approved. I cried for 4 hours. I have never gotten this far before. I am scared to death that something is going to go wrong. This coming Tuesday is my appointment with the surgeon.  I'm so nervous!
