Hi April, I just read your post and I have to say thank you. I am awaiting wls approval from Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield and I loved reading your posts. You seemed to have a really good time with the surgery and it is so wonderful to hear wonderful stories about pre-op, post-op and pregnancy. I definately got the message about the flu, I don't usually get it or the flu shot but once I have the surgery I will make sure to get the flu shot every year. Thanks again for the insight into your wls adventures.

Hi April!! I just spent the last hour reading your profile. I am in the process of trying to have wls. My company requires a six month wl program. I'm getting very impatient and obsessed with wls, so I read about a lot of other people. I just wanted to congratulate you on your weight loss. You look great!! I can really relate to a lot of your feelings about food. Thank you for sharing your "journey" with me. I do have a question for you. How tall are you? I am trying to find people that are my height and pre-op weight so I can get an idea of the change I can expect. I just can't imagine being in a size 10-12. I've never worn that in my life. Thanks again and look forward to hearing from you.
