Happy Surgiversary Month!

Biking O. 20 years, 6 months ago

Hi Patricia! I'm only 6 weeks out from surgery, but I know the frustration of trying to hang onto a goal. I see that you have lost a great deal of weight (I am inspired and, yes, jealous), so perhaps your body is using its own wisdom to govern what and how you lose. I can't give you any guidance, as I'm much further behind you, but I give you my support and prayers. Keep up the good work!

Great Job Patricia----you are doing good! We share the same surgery date and I too worry that I'm not losing fast enough. I've lost 63 1/2 lbs but it seems to be coming off soooo slow. We must remember that everyone loses at their own pace and keep reminding ourselves that in reality slower is really better. Our bodies need time to adjust and accept what is happening. Good Luck and keep in touch with me. Big Bear Hugs Lesa

Patricia, you are NOT failing. Just because you deemed yourself a slow loser, your body is working the tool at it's own pace. You, at a bit slower pace will give your body a chance to "CATCH' up, Lucky you, YOU May NOT have "SKIN" issues...so, honey...always see the silver linning..lol

It's true that I lost 50 pounds in 30 days...after my surgery, but I stabalized that much faater and haven't lost any more weight since January of this year.

I'm totally happy at my weight of 150-160--depending on my HORMONAL influxes I can gain lose, 5 or 7 pounds in that 10 pound window I allow mysel.

Just keep working your tool and before you know it you will be at goal! Hogs n Quiches!

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all. (unknown author)FROM MY HEART TO YOU ~*~Hugs~*~

PATRICIA~~ You are doing great - it's just normal for us to want to lose faster...but, don't get discouraged. Have you checked out one of the weight loss planners - you put in your height and weight and desired or expected % of weight loss - when I would feel that I was not losing fast enough, I would put my numbers in there and find out that I was usually right on track. http://www.pacificbariatrics.com/postopplanner.phtml
