I am going to have an EGD on Thur or Fri of this week. My doc is thinking maybe I have an ulcer or a stich that is bothering me. I just really want to get it figured out! I will post when I get results. Thanks to everyone that has been so helpful!

I told the nurse about my continuing heart burn. She said that possibly I have been too tight and I may have dilated my esophogus, which may be causing the heart burn. She said she would still give me a fill from 7.1 to 8.1 cc in my 10 cc band. She said if I still dont have much restriction, than the next step would be to take all of my fluid out.

I am still confused how I could have hardly any restriction, but be too tight? Many on this board say it is possible though!!

At my  1st consult, I was 212 lbs. I am short, 5 ft, 2in. My surgery day I was 206 lbs. My surgery date was 11/17/08. Since my surgery I have experienced heart burn, I had never had it before the band. My dr. has put me on many meds to help with the - heart burn, the meds help for a short time and than the heart burn returns. Currently I am up and down from 190 -195 lbs. I was hoping to have lost more at this point. I am getting married in June!! However, I am trying to stay positive.

I have learned a lot, however, since banding. I never realized how much I ate during the day! I was constantly eating much more than I needed and wouldn't even realize it. I am now trying to find different things to do instead of turning to food. I do love to workout, I just need to figure out how to find time with my busy schedule.

At this point, I only have a little restriction... but I am at 8.1 cc in a 10 cc band.  I am wondering now if I am too tight.... I will update when I figure out where I am going from here! :) I am so glad to have my OH friends.
