Well, here I am now 4 weeks and 2 days post op of my lap bariatric surgery. It was completed at AMC by Dr. Hill. I was very eagar to have the surgery. I started the process in May 06. Everything went according to the schedule. I celebrated my 46th birthday in the hospital and was happy to do it, as I see it, this was a new beginning or new birth for me. I weighted 250lbs in May o6. The day of surgery I weighted 237. Now 4 weeks and 2 days post op I weighted in this am at 210. Down a great 27lbs. I did have one problem since surgery and that was I developed a stricture and could not eat anything for a week. Well, with a brief EGD and a little dialation problem gone. I feel awesome now. I have started walking on the treadmill a couple times a week and it feels very good. One of the greatest things is i have stopped SNORING now for 2 weeks. I will update the site approx. 3-4 weeks.
