I've finally been given a letter from my family doctor recommending me for weight loss surgery.  It's been many years and many tears.  He's referred me to Baptist Hosptial in Nashville.  I've been reading all I can about surgery, the different types and also reading about risks and all that can go wrong.  At this point in my life I feel I have no choice.  I want to live..........So tomorrow morning I'm off to my first visit on the long approval list.  I have no idea if Medicare will even approve me or not as I have a host of other medical conditions that go along with being obese.
