"The nurses were great for the most part, I did dislike the attitude of one of the nursing assistants. When my blood pressure had dropped really low because of the pain meds, I still got up and walked the hall and sat for a little while, but was given an attitude when I asked for assistance to get back in bed because I was feeling lightheaded. She also ignored me when I questioned why my bladder felt so full when I had a catheter in, she said I was just sensitive to it. Turns out, a few minutes later when they removed my cather, I noticed that the collection bag was completely full and I could no longer ignore the feeling of a full bladder. My bladder was in fact full. Other than the one assistant though, everyone else was great. The overnight nurse I had for two of my three nights there was very compassionate and helpful."
"Dr. Stotsky started out as my rheumatologist and was the first doctor I spoke to about the bypass surgery. She recommended it for my arthritis. I had some unpleasant experiences with my then PCP (not weight related but regarding other health issues) so I changed to having Dr. Stotsky as my PCP. She is very understaning and supportive about all areas of my health and wrote my letter of medical necessity without hesitation."

"I'd have to agree with the great things that Dr. Ameri's other patients have said about him. He is very kind, he does not rush you through, he takes his time to answer your questions and address your concerns. His staff is the same. Louise, his nurse, meets with you first during your consultation. The first thing she lets you know is that she is not only in the office but will be with Dr. Ameri in the operating room too. I think it's great that you get to build a relationship with the nurse as well as the surgeon from day one. Since my consultation I've spoken to Linda, the office manager, a couple of times and she too shares the patience and professionalism as the rest of the staff."
