I have a date!!! October 2.  Insurance finally came thru.  Turns out they will not preapprove the outpatient surgery, but if I do it inpatient...  That's a whole new story!.  I have been preapproved for a 3 day stay. 

Still waiting on approval from the insurance company.  The drs office filed the paperwork on 7/6.  No response yet.  Isn't there some kind of legal requirement that they respond within a certain amount of time???

I met with my surgeon yesterday.  He filed the paperwork with the insurance company yesterday as well.  If all goes as planned, I will have the Lap Band procedure sometime  before Labor day.  I am not sure what all to add here so bear with me as I figure out how public I want to be with my progress.
