I had my upper and lower scope today.  Most looked good.  I did have several small polyps removed and a sample from my stomach taken because I have gastritis...and possibly H. pylori.  I'm not sure how long this might postpone my surgery.  Good luck to everyone.

Ok so I go to the cardiologist and am cleared.  Yippee!  Then the hematologist decides that he wants me cleared by a gastroenterologist.  So here I go today for an appointment.  This doc has me scheduled for an endoscopy and colonoscopy on Monday.  Yeah...I get to be roto rootered!  How exciting is this?!?!?!  The good news is that I am still on the surgery books for Dec. 7th.

I had my hematologist appointment today.  My iron is a bit out of whack but easily fixed.  My surgeon is very conservative so I have to see the cardiologist as well for a "blip" on the EKG.  I will have a stress test tomorrow.  Good luck and best wishes to all who are on this journey!

Hey there!  I am a newbie to all this and will hopefully be a LOSER very soon.  My surgery date has been moved to Dec 7.  The reason being that my labs and EKG came back abnormal.  I go tomorrow (Monday) to a hematologist because my Protein S is low.  Then on Tuesday I have to see a cardiologist for a stress test.  Then I sign consents for surgery on Thursday.  WOW!  I can't believe how fast this is happening for me.  I sure hope these glitches with my tests don't keep me from my surgery.  Will post again soon!
