Well, here goes.  I am now 27 years old and I have been overweight since I was about 8 years old.  I do not know what it is like to be an average size person.  I want this more than anything I have many reasons for wanting to take the weight off first and foremost being my health.  I have such horrible family history of diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, and so much more.  And now I have severe Sleep Apnea, Hypertension, and I am starting to have sugar problems as well.  Also of course is the fact that there are so many things I would like to be able to do that right now I can not even come close to doing like,

#1. Get Pregnant and carry a healthy baby the full 9 months without being a "High Risk" pregnancy because of my weight.

#2. Fly on an airplane without the BIG GIRL extender seat belt.

#3. Go through a turnstyle without fear of getting stuck.

#4. Ride on a roller coaster without having to be humiliated in front of thousands of people by being made to sit in the "Tester" seat to see if you can fit on the ride.

#5. Have more choices for nice clothes other than Lane Bryant.

#6. Be able to fit into any size booth.

#7. Tie my shoes without having to pull my foot up and prop it on the couch, chair, bed, etc.

#8. Go water rafting, jet skiing, or parasailing and not worry that my weight is past the max.

#9. More intimate positons with my partner

#10. Be able to hear "Nice Ass" instead of "You have such a pretty face".

#11. To not have to struggle to unhook my damn bra!!!

#12. To get a piggy back from someone without fear of hurting them.

#13. Go horseback riding.

#14. Wear something cute/sexy for Halloween (Lets face it, Fat Girls usually end up dressing like the Nun's because black is slimming)

#15. Hula-Hoop

#16. Dance all-night long!!!

#17. Take belly dancing lessons

#18. Wear a size 11/12 again. The last time I did that I think I was in the 6th grade.

#19. See my collar bones.

#20. Do a cartwheel without breaking my wrists.

#21. Be picked up off the ground without the person getting a hernia.

It's about getting my life back. I know there are risks involved and I know this is a lifestyle change forever, but the life I'm living now, even though I'm happy, isn't what it should be. This is the tool that will allow me to start my life over.
