"The thing I like about this hospital the best beside my psychiatrist is here, is that all the other services I could possibly want are here too connected to clinics attached to the hospital (and parking garage). My doctor refers out to specialists, while the registration, computers, and labs are shared. I like that the doctors can look into my record and see EVERYthing, but the psychology part ... that's private."

"My first impression of her was very good. We weren't really sure what to expect, but she let us soon know we were going to have some time with her and that she would explain everything. She said I could ask any question I wanted, but I did not have a lot of questions, because it all seemed so clear and upfront.rnrnI've only had the one visit with her. The ofice staff worked quickly. I don't recall having too much time to form an opinion of them.rnrnThere wasn't anything I didn't like ... though I wondered how could a woman of this size get to be such a strong, confident, welll-noted surgeon. I wondered if she worked on a step stool. Teasing, but it was a thought.rnrnFuture clients should know she's friendly and patient-ready. We talked more about the surgery than anything else. She showed me pictures and emphasized that 1 out of 100 people die doing this surgery. She also thought enough of me to encourage that I bring someone with me next time. I didn't realize how important this meeting was and how important it was to maintain support. She said that she would be seeing me at least once a year after the surgery and more often until everything healed.rnrnShe explained also because I had had a mesh inserted from a hernia operation where the gastric surgery would be concerned there would be a chance she would have to open me up rather than do just a laporascopic (sp?). I was glad that she showed great confidence in being able to do this. She told me that she'd just given the medical staff a lecture on the surgical options for weight loss. That's why my doctor sent me to her.rnrnLast thought that interested me was that ... she seemed interested in me and excited to be doing my surgery. I had the impression that I was more than my internal. I believe she can do the job. Oh one more thing. When we asked about the staple parts, she said that she only did the stomach part (closing off) with staples, but the connections themselves of small intestines to stomach she would do with tiny hand-made stitches. She said that is why this surgery lasted as long as it did. rnrnI was very comfortable and comforted with that. She explained how much superior the response of the healing with less danger to me. Good Dr. Ayloo!rnrnNo, nothing negative to say :)rnrn"
