This is my story after all my life struggling to lose weight I finally made a decision (took me 2 years) but decided that gastric passurgery was going to be good for me.As a young girl I would literally starve myself just took be thin, and the minute of course I started eating the weight would come back on. My dad always told me I was beautiful, my mom didn't think she meant it mean but would say if you would only lose weight................. You know the rest.Coming from a family where basically everyone is on the thin side you can only imagine my self esteem. I wanted to be more than the girl with the pretty face.I have been thin several times but always returned back to the chunky.I have 3 children who all had to be delivered c-section and then had my tubes tied which I feel even put more weight on myself. Went through a bad marriage and felt I would just never be pretty enough or good enough. I finally met a man who makes me feel I am beautiful and has loved me unconditionally and knows how hard this is for me.We married 3 years ago and still are going on strong.Had my first visit in march 2007 and had my surgery June 28th 2007 and now my journey really begins.
