I think I am still in a bit 'o shock....I broke the 200's this morning...weighing in at 199.5!!!!

Wow, wow, wowwww! I honestly didn't know if I could do it! When my doctor asked what my goal was, I said that I would be happy with anything under 200! He told me to have a lower goal....well since surgery my ulitmate goal is 145 and on Thursday, my follow-up doc said that she thought that would be totally doable by a year (Sept.). I feel like I need to keep pinching myself to make sure that this is really happening (but instead of pinching myself, I keep looking in the mirror and weighing myself to make sure that I didn't morph back into the fat me)!

Yeah, I'm feeling a little light headed from the shock still! This surgery was the best decision I have made for myself in a LONG time.

My next goal is 188 (100 lbs lost).

The last day of Feb! Wow, that was a quick month. A good month though. I went up to Northern Cali for a baby shower and to see my 2 month old nephew, he's a doll! We got snowed in my first day there - see victory pic of me - I'm looking pretty good! I weighed about 210 in that pic. Feb 1st I weighed 217, Feb 28th, I weigh 209. I have been hovering around 209 for at least 2 weeks. I'm hoping that I'm on the edge of a very steep plateau! I'm a slowwww loser, but it is actually coming off! I've been slacking on my exercise, so I need to get on the ball.
I've been distracted, my job is ending in 7 days and I'm moving to Northern Cali in a few weeks. I have sooo much to do, packing, going through stuff, doctors appointments, packing, etc., etc. I don't want to let my distractions sabotage my weight loss though, so I need to concentrate on that.
I used the health check station at work today and with all my clothes and my jacket on, it weighed me at 208.1. So that was awesome. My birthday is 3/11 and I really want to be under 200 lbs by then. And under 200 lbs by March 22nd...my 6 month check-up appt.

So I need to get back on the treadmill tonight! Wish me luck : )

Okay, so I am down 64 lbs, weighing in at 224, and finally someone at work noticed. This morning, she looked at me and said "You're melting away!" Well of course I'm not melting away at 224lbs, however, I was a little shocked that someone finally noticed (after 4 months!).

And then, that afternoon, someone else came up behind me and said "How MUCH weight have you lost?!"

I think it must have been the outfit, but 2 people in one day, that rocked.
