Its been a year since I did a blog. Im still trying to have gastric bypass. I feel like the doctors have not done there job in helping me at all. Its almost like becuase I am on medicaid that im a second class citizen. I have just as much right to good healthcare just as much as anyone else. Hopefully this round of six months will work and I will be able to have it done. If not I do not feel like another 6 months. I had a doctor at UAB yell in my face that " if I couldnt walk 2miles a day and workout at the gym for 3 hours a day, Medicaid WOULDNT fork out 6K for me to have gastric. I said obviously i'm not in the shape for that and if I was WHY woulld I want a surgery like gastric bypass?  I have my second dietican appt on May20th.

I want to have gastric bypass so bad. My current Primary Care Doctor is just a pain in my behind. He will do nothing to help me. He wants me to go on all these diet pills and weight watchers. Even after I have told him time and time again that I dont have the money to pay for these things he still puts them on my at home instructions. 
I was in the hospital two weeks ago with a severe kidney infection. I was suppose to do a follow up with him last week and he refused to see me due to my ins not covering two of my visits last year. He said until I could pay atleast 75.00 there was no need to come into the office. I guess I am so mad bc he is clearly in it for the money and if you dont have the money he would like to see you suffer. When I called for my follow up I couldnt pee. That is dangerous in so many ways. 
I just want to get better and have a healthy life.
