I'm writing in red because, he pain is at a level 7 for me. Though right after sugery was done, it was at like 12+ lol , everybody is different when reacting to this type of procedure. I got operated on the 11th of feburary. it was done at Luthern Medical center in brooklyn ny. My doctor is the best bariatric doctor in ny, but the hospital he works out of sucks ass!!.. the recovey room was a utter nightmare, they ignored me for my pain medications, they wouldnt help clean me when i used the restoom, they wouldnt ven rub my back a little to break up all those damn gas pockets. I couldnt wait to get home. 3 days there felt like an etenity.... i kept thinking to myself, "what did i do to myself?"..."why couldnt i just done the weight watchers progam"....so many people say the surgery is the easy way out, FUCK NO ITS NOT!!!!...NOTHING EASY ABOUT HEALING FROM THISOPERATION.....but i know in the end it will be for the best. Ha anyone have this type of ecperiance like mine???

The other day i recieved a call from my Bariatric surgeon's office, and they told me that my date of my Gastric Bypass is Feburary 11th 2013 !

I am very excited, but at the same time very nervous & scared. i had previous bariatric surgery before (via lapband) back in 2009. it was a success untill the birth of my beautiful son, Romeo.

But before it was an impant and no major cutting or re-routing was done. I'm scared that when i wake up from surgery , that i am goig to feel "chopped up" on the inside. like that raw feeling so to speak. My inscions i'm not worried about because i wont have anything sewn to the underside of my abdomen (port from lapband), which was the most pain i had with the previous surgery.

Is there anyone who has had the Gastric bypass ( roux n y) procedure done recently? what were your immediate reactions/ feelings after waking up from the surgery being performed? would love some insight.
