Thomas Clark

"Dr Clarke is a excellent surgeon with an awsome bedside manner. His entire staff is kind and supportive. His aftercare plan is very extensive and he offers a monthly support group through his practice. He explained all about the surgery to me prior including the risks and complications that were possible. His stats are actually much better than the national average. I would rate him and his entire practice a 11 out of a possible 10. I really have no negative to state, they handled everything for me from insurance to my works FMLA paperwork, even faxed it back to my work so I did not have to make the trip. Prior to surgery he required I have a phy review, attend a seminar, a 3 hr nutricion class, EKG, Bloodwork and Im sure theres something Im forgetting, but everything went smoothly. No problems with any of my appointments that they made. "

Sentara Careplex Hospital (COE)

"Overall everything was good. Some nurses are definately better than others. Some have the i dont care attitude but there were several that really showed they caried about you. I only had one really bad nurse who i had to ask 3 times for pain medication and it took a total of 3 1/2 hrs and repeated asking to receive it. But this only happened with one nurse. She was nice and very talkative but faster to run her mouth then to get you anything or help you. I will say that she was on the day shift, but i will not disclose names. Overall taking everything into consideration I though my stay was good. They were very accomodating as far as my husband staying with me and MOST of the nurses were awsome.( Remember nothing is perfect everywhere, theres always gonna be one or two in the bunch). I would recomment this hospital Overall as I felt safe and carried for. I appreciate everyones hard work and help in my speedy recovery. God bless"
