Today I met with Dr. Edwards, discussed my situation and now am on my path towards having lapband surgery.   Met with Mary, too.  It was a very positive experience all around.  Katie came to the lobby prior to my appt & gave me a hug...........so kind of her to remember I was coming in this morning.    How special she is......a jewel, to say the least.

So, bottomline is:  Dr Edwards agreed to the surgery including GB.  
Mary started the ball rolling for the Nutritional and Exercise Physiologist appts.  Psych eval: done.   Signed up for the Aug 6, 2007 all day class.
I feel so ready for this step in my life and fortunate to be able to be with my Steve, who is so supportive......along with my family and friends.
