"If you dont like something, or wish to tell the staff something, make sure they listen to you. I almost lost my 16 yr old daughter, but I did not follow their diagnosis, I made one of my own and refused to medicate her like they wanted me to,it was her appendix and they would not listen to me......I took her home, it burst and I had to rush her back, she made it, but was one sick girl. I will never forget how close we came to loosing our girl. I told them from the first time I took her in, in the am, and they sent me home 2 times, during the day, I took her back in the evening and she had emergency surgery. A mom's intuition is usually right. "
